What is cat-venture

Cat-venture is a short videogame based on the Aventure of Whiskers, a cute cat that go to explore the town.

It's a GBA Avance game, made for GBA Jam 2024.

How to play

Move -> arrows

A -> Select

Start -> skip

Whiskers can explore the town and visit some places, it can train at the GYM to improve energy but don't forget to eat from time to time or you'll die of starvation.

Story of Whiskers

Whiskers was no ordinary cat. With a sleek, shiny coat and eyes that sparkled with curiosity, he lived in a cozy apartment. But Whiskers had always wondered what lay beyond the familiar walls of his home.

One sunny morning, Whiskers seized the opportunity. With a swift leap, he slipped out the slightly ajar window and landed gracefully on the fire escape. His heart raced with excitement as he descended into the bustling town below.

Whiskers stumbled upon a large building with glass doors. Curious, he peered inside and saw people lifting weights, running on treadmills, and practicing yoga. It was a gym! Intrigued by the strange activities, Whiskers decided to investigate further.
